2/11: The Shelf

The Course

Professional's Description:

A 226 yard par four hole from the medal tee running parallel with the boundary fence. With the clubhouse in the distance, the green lies on a raised area just short of the start of the car park, hence earning it's name The Shelf. A small ditch running across the fairway lies in wait to catch the unlucky golfer.

Hacker's Interpretation:

A good hole with trouble awaiting the unsuspecting to the left, the road. Overshoot from the fairway and you'll have to contend with a ditch or worse still the clubhouse! An iron from the tee is a safe bet for accuracy.
